When I started Unboxing Traveller I was all crazy about traveling.

I was about to go on a first long-term backpacking trip in South America.

My journey started in Berlin though, where I got stuck and I spent 3 “uber” inspirational, party and creative months there.

That time, when I launched this blog in Berlin, I didn’t know it was a very special moment and I was going on a much longer journey than I’ve ever anticipated.

I traveled 2 years in Latin America, 1 year in Europe (with work stops in Denmark and Slovakia) and I’ve been living over a year in Bali now.

Maybe it’s that I’m slowly stopping to travel so extensively or maybe I just became nostalgic, but I wanted to share a list and photos of my TOP places around the world with you.

EUROPE

1. Berlin, Germany
The mekka of creativity, amazing parties, street art, weird strangers, healthy food and hundreds of parks.

SOUTH AMERICA

2. Fitz Roy, Argentina
Hidden gem of Patagonia, the land of nowhere where you’ll find peace and beauty.

3. Cabo Polonio, Uruguay
Hippie beach in Uruguay, where I’ve see the most amazing stars and listened to the sound of seals.

4. National Park Torres del Paine, Chile
Wild, exceptionally beautiful and very remote national park that will take your breath away.

5. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
In the highlands of Bolivia, you’ll find a fairy land where flamingos live in purple and pink lagoons.

6. Machu Picchu, Perú
The land of the Ancient and Sacred valleys where history, wisdom and magic meets.

7. Laguna Quilotoa, Ecuador
Crystal clear blue water, cold wind and slow walk around the most beautiful lagoon I’ve ever seen.

8. Salento, Colombia
Where horses run in the valleys with palm trees and you feel the power of Colombian mountains everywhere around you.

Magical natural beauty of our planet. Make it a place to visit on your bucket list.

CENTRAL AMERICA

10. San Blas islands, Panama
White sand, turquoise water, lobsters, star fish and super chilled times.

11. Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
Village by the Pacific where surfers, hipsters and good vibes meet.

12. El Tunco, El Salvador
My Salvadorian home, a place where I lived for 6 months, where I fell in love and where I decided to pursue the digital nomad lifestyle.

13. Lago Atitlan, Guatemala
In the highlands of Guatemala volcanos meet to give you breaking views and spiritual thoughts.

14. Caye Caulker, Belize
An island where time runs slower than you can imagine and where the only thing you need to do is snorkeling.

NORTH AMERICA

Sacred city of Palenque, built by ancient Mayans shows us how powerful were the civilizations before us.

16. New York City, USA
The city that never sleeps. The city that was my home for 8 months when I was 21 and where I learned that everything is possible if I really want it to make it happen 🙂

SOUTH EAST ASIA

A view that you can’t imagine unless you see it with your own eyes.
