sLOV(E)akia road trip

After years of living abroad and traveling in South America, I had a need to travel in my own country – Slovakia! I combined everything: I visited my grandparents in Chynorany (west) and Snina (east), I hiked in High Tatras, I visited Banská Štiavnica (town protected by UNESCO) and also I found a spot where Slovakia, Austria and Hungary meet, which was very interesting for my Australian friend who was visiting – they don’t have this luxury 🙂
I don’t want to write too much, I will let my photos speak, but I just want to say that I fell in love with Slovakia again. I think that it is a beautiful country and not because it’s my home. We have many beautiful landscapes, traditions that we preserve and people who are nice, especially in the mountains hehe.
I’m happy that I made it to Slovakia “as a tourist” and I can’t wait to hike in High Tatras again. You’re welcome to visit too 🙂
