This video was made during Fuck parade in Berlin (August 2012). The mission of this annual gathering since 1997 is to “demonstrate against the increasing commercialisation of culture and public life”. It was a crazy parade with 22 wagons, going from Mauer park in Prenzlauer Berg to Kreuzberg. It took us around 6 hours to walk through the city and to enjoy the sunny day.
I was amazed to see so many happy people dancing to all kinds of electronic music like elektro, house, tekno or drum´n´bass. Especially to hear hard tekno at 4pm on a big square was a new experience. Berlin is the city of party!
So besides learning German, this is what I learned in Berlin: Prioritize, party harder 🙂
